For more adventurous palates, Salt &amp; Straw is also known for its&nbsp; inventive combinations such as Strawberry Honey Balsamic with Black Pepper and Pear and Blue Cheese, alongside a rotating slate of seasonal monthly menus. Cinemark Brings the Ultimate Cinematic Experience to Riverton with Mountain View Village Theatre Now Open

OTL AND CENTERCAL PROPERTIES ANNOUNCE CONSTRUCTION OF REVOLUTIONARY SHOW FOUNTAIN AT 85-ACRE LIFESTYLE DEVELOPMENT IN RIVERTON, UTAH

Water feature at Mountain View Village Phase II will incorporate freshly minted choreographic technology and serve as a unique focal point for the development

Riverton, UT (February 22, 2021) – <a href="http://www.otl-inc.com/">Outside the Lines</a> (OTL), a design-build construction company that specializes in creating one-of-a-kind water features, fountains, rockwork and themed environments, and <a href="https://www.centercal.com/">CenterCal Properties, LLC</a>, an industry-leading private retail development company, have announced the construction of a revolutionary new show fountain at the second phase of <a href="https://www.mountainviewvillage.com/">Mountain View Village</a>, an 85-acre lifestyle development in Riverton, Utah.

The fountain, designed and constructed by OTL, will utilize a new approach with state-of-the-art technology to produce a spectacular choreographic water and light show, according to Chris Roy, director of creative design for OTL.

“As an amenities provider with deep expertise in customizing each project to help our clients create a unique sense of place, OTL is working with the design team at Architects Orange (AO) to deliver a water feature that is distinctly inspired by Mountain View Village’s iconic location,” says Roy. “The fountain will counterbalance architectural and natural elements, combining natural stone representing Utah’s beautiful mountains with modern geometric forms illustrating the project’s investment in the future. OTL is always working to improve on show fountain technology, and the concept we’ll be installing at Mountain View Village is special in that it multiplies the water’s choreographic effects in a completely new way. The result will definitely stand out as having a completely different look compared to existing show fountains.”

The fountain will also feature energy-efficient LED color-changing lighting and musical shows to entertain and attract visitors to the center, Roy adds.

“The food hall and dining courtyard with a circular fireplace above the fountain, combined with a large-scale LED screen and special effects of the water feature, integrate activity across the entire site,” Roy notes.

Mountain View Village Phase I features a Harmons Grocery Store and Fuel Stop and more than 35 retailers, businesses and dining options. In July 2018, OTL delivered a fountain for Phase I featuring a 13-foot bronze <a href="https://www.codaworx.com/projects/majestic-foot-eagle-for-mountain-view-village-centercal-properties/">American eagle sculpture</a> conceived by Fred Bruning, chairman and founder of CenterCal Properties, and nationally renowned Northern California native artist, Brian Keith. The sculpture, which pays homage to the men and women serving in Riverton’s fire department, police department, and local National Guard, serves as the centerpiece for the Phase I plaza, according to Bruning.

For Phase II, OTL was called in by Architects Orange (AO) to design and engineer the show fountain and elevate AO’s initial layout for the water feature. CenterCal Properties has tapped Okland Construction as general contractor for the development’s second phase, which will solidify Mountain View Village as the top community gathering place, commercial hub, and residential community in Riverton, according to Bruning.

“The show fountain that is under construction for Mountain View Phase II aligns well with our goals for this lifestyle development,” says Bruning. “Our expertise is in developing privately owned public spaces (POPS), and our focus is on creating amazing places that integrate into the community and generate a buzz for the tenants within. The water feature OTL is delivering will serve as a unique focal point and gathering space for the many guests who are drawn to this magnificent center.”

In addition to the new show fountain, the second phase will feature five pocket parks with distinctive amenities; a covered market hall-style pavilion with a series of eateries and indoor and outdoor seating; a 14-screen Cinemark movie theater complex; and retail, restaurant, and commercial spaces. Completion of the second phase is slated for May 2022.

Mountain View Village is located at 4500 West 13400 South in Riverton, Utah.

The Crack Shack prides itself on its housemade sauces, produce sourced mostly from local farms and fresh bread by Utah’s own Stoneground Bakery. Patrons will have access to The Crack Shack’s beloved sauce bar, which will feature house-made condiments like ranch, Sriracha 1000 Island (their spicy fry sauce), pineapple mustard and Sweet Baby G’s BBQ. Riverton, Utah (June 15, 2018) -- CenterCal Properties will hold a grand opening and sculpture unveiling for its newest mixed-use project, Mountain View Village, in Riverton, Utah. The event will be at 13400 S. Mountain View Corridor (4500 W.), Riverton, UT on June 15, 2018.

The grand opening will commence with several store openings at 10 AM, and a ceremony at 11 AM in which city leaders will offer remarks. The short ceremony, highlighted by the sculpture unveiling, will be followed by light refreshments. A major feature of Mountain View Village is the bronze, 10 ft., 1900 lb. statue of an eagle in a protective stance, ‘Majestic,’ which will be installed in an area designated as John Ward Plaza.  Visitors can meet the sculptor, Brian Keith, and learn about his vision and creation of Majestic, to be unveiled during the 11:00 AM ceremony. About Operator Becky Pickle

Utah native Pickle will become a multi-restaurant owner with the opening of the new Mountain View Village location, a rare honor among Chick-fil-A Operators. Having operated the South Jordan Chick-fil-A since 2008, Pickle’s Chick-fil-A career began when she was 15 when she was hired as a Team Member. A Chick-fil-A Leadership Scholarship winner while attending Weber State University and working at the chain’s former Ogden location, Pickle quickly realized she wanted to one day own her own location.

The company receives some 40,000 applications yearly for approximately 100 franchise opportunities but that did not stop Pickle from pursuing her dream of becoming an Operator.  She was awarded the Fashion Place Mall location in 2004, and relocated from that location when the South Jordan restaurant opened.

During her almost 15 years as Operator, Pickle has mentored thousands of Team Members, helping them achieve their dreams, including awarding more than $115,000 in Chick-fil-A scholarships in the past two years alone. With the launch of the chain’s new Remarkable Futures scholarship program, Pickle awarded the most Chick-fil-A scholarships in the chain, presenting more than $75,000 in scholarship money to 21 Team Members.

In addition to hosting numerous fundraisers for individuals facing difficult challenges, Pickle’s community impact extends beyond her restaurant doors. Actively serving with Encircle, The Road Home, state-wide youth suicide prevention efforts and other causes helping to create a healthier community, Pickle’s passion is partnering with people and organizations focused on positively impacting individuals and families.

She and her husband, Scott, a local firefighter for Unified Fire Authority, have two daughters, Rilee and Ashlee, and a son, Kyller, and are thrilled to continue serving the guests and community they have come to love and expand their reach with this second location.

“Our goal is for this restaurant to be a second home for our community where everyone feels welcomed and loved,” said Pickle. “My Team Members and I can’t wait to welcome our new guests who will find the same handcrafted food and sincere hospitality they have come to expect.”

Restaurant details

Pickle’s 5,000-square-foot restaurant has been designed to enhance all aspects of a guest’s experience from the drive-thru to the counter to in-restaurant dining. Highlights include a:

<ul>
<li>dining room that seats 118 in a vintage-inspired interior, including a large gathering table made from reclaimed wood, light fixtures from recycled Coca-Cola bottles and peach baskets, and an interactive two-story, indoor play area.</li>

Riverton—Today, <a href="https://cts.businesswire.com/ct/CT?id=smartlink&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.centercal.com%2F&amp;esheet=52121146&amp;newsitemid=20191031005770&amp;lan=en-US&amp;anchor=CenterCal+Properties%2C+LLC&amp;index=1&amp;md5=7d62ddc3a3367a0841cdc02ffa3e76fa" rel="noreferrer noopener">CenterCal Properties, LLC</a> (CenterCal), the full-service commercial real estate company, with properties throughout the western United States, announces that it has closed on the final nine acres of land for <a href="https://cts.businesswire.com/ct/CT?id=smartlink&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.mountainviewvillage.com%2F&amp;esheet=52121146&amp;newsitemid=20191031005770&amp;lan=en-US&amp;anchor=Mountain+View+Village&amp;index=2&amp;md5=8804d14a61e048a6457a4f525ef05836" rel="noreferrer noopener">Mountain View Village</a> in Riverton, Utah. The site completes the acquisition phase of CenterCal’s newest mixed-use project and is set to be fully open in mid-2021. Phase I of the project is open with an anchor grocery store and other national retailers.

“Phase III at Mountain View Village is another step forward in manifesting CenterCal’s signature ‘placemaking’ philosophy— building spaces where people can live, work, play, eat, visit and assemble to serve and strengthen our community,” said Fred Bruning, CenterCal’s Chief Executive Officer. “CenterCal is pulling out all the stops in experiential technology for the final phase of development. Visitors can expect to experience a new level of entertainment technology in our fountain and light productions.”

Phases II and III will feature new entertainment, restaurants, a movie theater, and about 90 additional retail tenants. The site will be home to several lush parks and parklets, more than 1,700 newly-planted trees and 10,000 plant species. Mountain View Village will also welcome best-of-class residential and office space spearheaded by commercial real estate icon, Brandon Fugal. Still in planning stages is a 440-unit luxury residential apartment complex with a rooftop pool and fitness area overlooking the Oquirrh and Wasatch mountain ranges.

Mountain View Village was planned in three phases. The property acquired will constitute Phase III, which will be developed simultaneously with Phase II. The company broke ground on Phase II in August of 2019 and will include more specialty retail, entertainment, and restaurants. Phase I kicked off with a groundbreaking in March 2017 and grand opening in 2018 and is anchored by Harmon’s Grocery.

Mountain View Village’s Phase I is designed to provide visitors with their day-to-day needs from big-box retailers, grocery and fast-casual dining. The complex features a striking bronze eagle statue, “Majestic,” depicted in a protective stance to honor the men and women who protect and serve the communities where CenterCal builds. Renowned artist Brian Keith conceived and created the statue. Keith is now creating a new suite of Americana sculptures in the theme of Norman Rockwell for Phase III development.

“As Riverton grows rapidly, it’s important to maintain the charm and strong sense of community that this city offers,” said Riverton Mayor Trent Staggs. “Mountain View Village will become a distinct gathering place in Riverton that will continue to promote the strong sense of community we have here. Mountain View Village is a bright spot in the community’s future and will positively affect the trajectory of the city’s growth for many generations.”

Situated on 85 acres in one of the fastest-growing areas in the Salt Lake Valley, Mountain View Village’s architecture, mature landscaping, and distinctive sculptures are designed to honor the unique and deep history of the area. It is CenterCal’s newest ‘placemaking’ project, following the development and openings of Station Park in Farmington, Utah, and Canyon Corners in Park City, Utah, as well as properties in Idaho, Washington, Oregon, and California.

SALT LAKE CITY--(<a href="https://www.businesswire.com/" rel="nofollow">BUSINESS WIRE</a>)--CenterCal Properties is delighted to announce several new, diverse, local and national retailers opening Winter 2019 at its Utah properties—Station Park in Farmington, Mountain View Village in Riverton and Canyon Corners in Park City.

The full-service commercial real estate company, with properties throughout the western United States, designs and implements gathering places that strengthen the social fabric of neighborhoods. CenterCal calls this “place-making”— building spaces that bring people together in a wide variety of ways by offering office space, dining, public gathering spaces, family events, lifestyle amenities and open-air concerts for the local community.

“Although there has been a rise in the world of e-commerce recently, at CenterCal we believe it is possible to merge the online experience with our physical spaces. We are committed to creating the very best experience for shopping, dining, entertainment, fitness and happiness, while we bring innovative and in-demand retailers to the communities we serve in the State of Utah,” said Fred Bruning, Chief Executive Officer of CenterCal Properties.

Riverton, Utah (February 7, 2018) – CenterCal Properties' newest mixed-use project, Mountain View Village in Riverton, today announced eleven retailers and restaurants that have signed leases for its opening in Summer 2018. Mountain View Village will be the company’s latest and best example of its focus on placemaking.

“Our work in Utah is focused on developing and building places where people in the community can spend time in myriad activities, including working in the planned office space, dining, visiting with family and friends, and attending community events,” noted Fred Bruning, chief executive officer of CenterCal. “Mountain View Village will be a place where people can gather and connect with each other.”

CenterCal’s goal with its placemaking projects focuses on creating spaces that bring people together in a wide variety of ways, with offerings that include public gathering spaces, family events, lifestyle amenities, and open-air concerts to which the local community is invited.

"Riverton is growing rapidly, and we believe that Mountain View Village will be a wonderful location for us to congregate to enjoy a broad range of dining options, outdoor entertainment and retail shops,” said Riverton Mayor Trent Staggs.

The first phase will have several ‘big box’ and national retail stores, which serve as anchors for specialty stores and restaurants to come in the next phases. When completed, Mountain View Village will be a full-service retail, entertainment and restaurant complex, as well as a beautiful and unique gathering place for families and communities.

The grand opening of phase one of Mountain View Village is scheduled for summer 2018 and includes current leases with:
